At Cast Iron Wholesale, we take delivery seriously.
We want to get your order to you as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible.
Here are the various delivery options you can choose from:
UK & Ireland Delivery
Free Delivery: Standard 3 Day Delivery is Free for orders over £1,200 incl. VAT. This applies to the UK Mainland only (excluding the Scottish Highlands).
Small Order Delivery: Delivery for orders between £500 +VAT and £1,200 costs £45 + VAT. If you are in a rush, next day delivery is available for £55 + VAT.
Collection: Our minimum order for delivery is £500. But we sometimes accept smaller orders if you can collect the items from our warehouse directly.
Scottish Highlands Delivery: Freight delivery to AB, DD, IV, KW, PA, PH & Islands is available for an additional £30+VAT.
Ulster & EIRE Delivery: Freight Delivery to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland is available for an additional £50+VAT.
Delivery To Continental Europe
We regularly send shipments to France, Germany, Spain, Italy and other continental European markets.
If you are located in Europe and would like to place an order, get in touch with us to discuss your requirements. We work closely with a number of freight carriers who can offer competitive continental delivery rates.
We also work closely with a number of International customers. Again, if you are based outside Europe, get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
What if my Delivery Is Late?
Your order will be sent to the address that you provide to us.
After you place your order, we’ll provide you with a consignment tracking number.
You can use this to track the progress of your delivery yourself.
If your delivery is more than 2 days late, it’s up to you to get in touch with us and let us know.
Once we know that there has been a problem, we can look into it for you.
What happens on Delivery Day?
We will pack your items safely and place them on a standard pallet for delivery.
Depending on the size of your order, a pallet can weigh anything up 1.2 tons, approximately.
Your delivery will usually arrive on a medium-sized 7 ton lorry.
As part of your account registration, you gave us a telephone number. It is very important that you are available to answer calls to this number after your order is confirmed.
If there are any delivery problems, the driver will contact you on that phone number. If he can’t get in touch with you, and can’t make the delivery as a result, a charge may be applied to your account.
And if you have any questions, you can always contact us and we’ll do our best to answer them for you.
If we spot any potential difficulties with your delivery, we will always try to get in touch with you in advance.
We’re happy that the vast majority of our deliveries arrive without a hitch. And if any problems do crop up, we’ll work with you to sort them out.
