Robert The Robot Moneybox - Red
In Stock
This cast iron mechanical moneybox is a Hubley "Robert The Robot" reproduction. Founded in 1894 in Pennsylvania, the Hubley Manufacturing Company was famous for making cast iron toys, bookends and doorstops. This cast iron moneybox features Robert The Robot, a character who was especially popular during the 1950's. The bank is finished in handpainted red and silver. The robot's arm is mechanical, moving to deposit the coin in his mouth. This is a beautiful vintage-style item, perfect to use both as a moneybox or a decorative ornament.
