Andrew Barclay Railway Sign
This cast iron railway sign features the famous "Andrew Barclay Sons & Co" branding. Founded in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 1840, Andrew Barclay Sons & Co was a well-known manufacturer of steam, fireless and diesel locomotives. As a sign of the popularity of the brand among railwayana enthusiasts, many Barclay locomotives have been preserved and restored, and can be viewed at various heritage railway centres around the UK. The sign itself is oval in shape and is finished in handpainted blue with white lettering. The railway plaque comes with pre-drilled holes, making it easy to hang in a garage, workshop, or outside in the garden or yard.
