Craven Bros Coach Builder Railway Sign

This oval cast iron wall plaque features branding from Craven Brothers. Founded in the 1800's as "Cravens Railway Carriage and Wagon Company Limited" in the Darnell area of Sheffield, England, Craven Brothers was a famous manufacturer of railway rolling stock. This railway sign features raised, handpainted white lettering on a black background and is very popular with informed railwayana enthusiasts. The plaque comes with pre-drilled holes for easy hanging or mounting.
